Capezio Contractors were highlighted by a local carrier in their published annual report as a big help to their policy holders, Mr. & Mrs. Bell and I want to share their story and our success.
Splintered roof rafters, insulation and shattered shards of wedding day keepsakes were what were left after a storm damaged the home of the Bells. Mr. Bell had just gotten home, had lunch and went to take a nap when he felt his king sized solid oak bed come straight off the floor. He tore open the bedroom door in time to see a white cloud headed straight for him, he was poised to run when the haze cleared just enough that he could make out a tangle of branches, leaves and splintered wood on the dining room floor. A three foot high heap of ceiling insulation, topped off by the dining room chandelier covered the table where he’d been eating lunch ten minutes before.
A 150 foot oak tree had smashed through the Bells’ home after 72 hours of ground soaking rain and fierce wind had dislodged this old tree that stood 40 yards from the house.
In less than an hour Capezio Contractors had a crew and tree service on site removing the tree and stabilizing the roof. Capezio worked through the night rigging tarpaulins to make sure everything was completely sealed up. “I finally went out at 3 a.m. and told them to go home” laughs Mr. Bell “They had worked so hard…nothing was getting through the job they’d done!”

He is a dedicated craftsman who is clearly passionate about his work and he consistently went out of his way to exceed our expectations every time he walked in the house. His friendly demeanor and work ethic will surely be missed, but not forgotten. Keep on running, Milton!
We'll also miss George -- probably one of the friendliest and kindest folks to ever hold a hammer. Like Milton, George would absolutely bend over backwards to fulfill any request, no matter how insignificant. George was never satisfied with a particular task until Lena and I were satisfied. Without a doubt, craftsmen like Milton and George are a large part of the reason why we would recommend Capezio to anyone who might find themselves in a situation like ours."

We are very pleased with the work done on our house by your
company. Capezio was recommended when I called our Insurance Carrier’s emergency number late night after suffering from the storm damage.
Next, I got a call back within a few minutes from your emergency coordinator and had an appointment set up the next morning for a preliminary assessment. Stop-gap measures to brace the wall and plug the hole in the roof were accomplished and then until your estimator & our insurance representative did their appraisal and set up the work schedule.
From the start Capezio was responsive, professional and very helpful through every phase of the reconstruction. Our project manager was so capable and so helpful; he gave us the confidence that everything would be fine in the end and he was right. He kept us apprised of the work schedule and what to expect at each stage of the job. He was very responsive to all
my calls and emails when we had questions and while we were away for several weeks during the renovation, he kept us up to date on the
progress.
The carpenters, painters, etc. were also excellent. The finished product shows the excellence of the workers and subcontractors you provided for our job.
We had never heard of Capezio, so it was a leap of faith to go with them for such an important job but, our claims adjuster
said we would be happy with your work and we are. We are grateful to them for recommending Capezio and to everyone
who helped rebuild our house and make it “good as new”!!

My husband and I want to thank you so much for all that you did to put our house back together, after a massive tree fell on it. We were beyond impressed by your kindness to us, your professionalism and your commitment to our remodel project.
While at times, the scope of the damage seemed overwhelming, it was very reassuring to know that our estimator was constantly checking on our project and took a personal interest in making sure that our house was put back together, so it looked like our "home". And at the end, it truly did!
Our project manager was completely dedicated to the job. He made us feel like he cared about us and his kindness and attention to detail were truly extraordinary. He and all the people with whom we dealt with at Capezio were wonderful.

This was my first experience with hiring a contractor. When my basement flooded, my insurance carrier gave me several names and each time their suggested contractor came back with their numbers, my carrier denied them because their estimates were too high. I've been on this merry-go-round for months.
Finally, they recommended Capezio Contractors and that is when things turned around. We knew we were in good hands the moment we met our Project Manager. He was at my home several times during the restoration of my basement, always checking in to see how the work was going and asking if I had any questions about the work. He laid out a time schedule, so I knew what to expect. The work was finished in a week much to my satisfaction.
Your office was in touch with me by email and phone before, during, and after the work. I'm just going to say it - there was a bit of hand holding here and I am so grateful for the assistance of your awesome office staff. But our project manager, well he's a keeper. What a fabulous team!
One last thing - the quality of work was top notch. I am putting my home on the market soon and my basement is now the spotlight of my home! Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

When I interviewed potential general contractors for this project, you told me ‘we will treat this repair as if it were our own house’. And I must admit you were true to your word.
